Mozelle Thompson (American, 1926-1969) original art for bandleader Vincent Lopez' album, "Dance Along With Lopez". Signed by both Mozelle and Vincent Lopez (on back). Mozelle was the only prolific African American artist to illustrate record album covers during the mid-20th century, illustrating some 120 album covers for various artists and musical genres. The back reads, "Design for Vincent Lopez Record Album Cover" and "Dance Contest WInners 3/3/66, Good for 2 Champagne Dinners, NOT GOOD SAT NIGHTS" and signed by the Bandleader.
