Sazingg, Moonstone and Ruby Beaded Choker Necklace
Six strands of faceted moonstone beads measuring approximately 4.95 - 5.50 mm and two strands of faceted ruby beads measuring approximately 2.95 mm, the carved frosted central element with invisibly set calibré cut rubies and pavé-set round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.55 carat total. 18 karat yellow gold. 13 1/2 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide.
Stamp: 750 (Italian maker's mark).
Gross weight: 88.30 dwt.

  • Provenance: Venezuelan-born jewelry designer Irene Zingg (b. 1948) founded Sazingg in 1983, opening the brand’s first boutique in Coral Gables, Florida. The brand is known for its colorful and whimsical aesthetic, drawing inspiration from nature and the vibrancy of Zingg’s native Venezuela. Sazingg is best known for its signature snake jewelry that blends playful design with sculptural forms. In addition to jewelry, Zingg also designs clocks, watches, and other accessories. Today, Sazingg remains family run, led by Irene alongside her daughter and granddaughter.
  • Condition: Overall Condition: Light to moderate scratching to gold consistent with wear. Two of the invisibly-set rubies have small chips. We recommend that you periodically have your jewelry restrung.
