7 Ft x 4.5 Ft. Great condition. This 19th-century American primitive corner cupboard is constructed in two separate sections for ease of transportation. The piece is crafted from a dark-stained hardwood, possibly walnut or cherry, which has developed a deep patina over time. The upper section features a stepped-out cove-molded cornice above two doors, each inset with a single pane of glazing. The interior of the upper cabinet provides two shelves and a base shelf, with a row of metal cup hooks mounted to the underside of the top. The interior back is comprised of wide vertical wooden planks. The lower section consists of a single central drawer over two solid flat-panel doors. The drawer displays a large hand-cut dovetail joint on the side, characteristic of 19th-century cabinetmaking. The lower doors are held closed by a simple wooden turn-latch. The unit sits on cutout bracket feet with a scalloped profile. Turned wooden knobs are present on all doors and the drawer. An inventory tag is attached to the upper right door knob.
