A collection consisting of a personal photo album and an associated archive of loose professional-format photographs and paper ephemera. The archive features approximately 15 to 20 loose 8x10 inch glossy black and white photographs documenting official aviation and military activities. These images depict United States Navy and Air Force officers alongside men in business attire. Key subjects include award ceremonies such as a medal pinning, group portraits with a man holding an NAA ROCAT CLUB certificate, and various scenes in hangars and on tarmacs. One photograph captures the nose and landing gear of an aircraft marked U.S. with a visible tail or serial number 14421. The accompanying brown textured photo album is titled Photographs in gold-tone lettering and features a stylized camera graphic. The internal black paper pages contain black and white snapshots and early color photographs spanning from the early 1930s to the mid-1960s. Documented dates include June 1933, July 1943, October 1958, December 1959, May 1960, March 1961, and February 1964. Subjects include family portraits, holiday gatherings, and a series of images from March 1961 showing significant snow accumulation. Associated ephemera includes postcards from West Palm Beach, Miami, and the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Also included is a newspaper clipping dated Friday, July 15, 1966, referencing Peggy Gillespie, daughter of the late W.C. Gillespie, and a handwritten envelope addressed to Wenna Gillespie from Henry Letennier of Paris. Loose photographs: 8 x 10 inches Album: 12.5 x 10.5 inches.

Large items, such as furniture, large signs, neon, etc, will exclusively be FOR PICK-UP ONLY or for private courier delivery as selected by the winning bidder or recommended local agent from Atlee Raber Auctions.


The buyer is free to contact any shipping company they wish, as shipment is not limited to the agents provided by Atlee Raber Auctions.
