This set of seven glasses is attributed to Heisey, featuring the Southwind wheel-etched pattern (etching number 1030) on the Barcelona stem (stem number 1506). The collection consists of seven matching crystal coupe or sherbet glasses crafted from colorless lead glass. Each glass features a wide, shallow bowl decorated with a continuous wheel-etched frieze of stylized floral and fruit motifs, resembling pomegranates or poppy heads, rendered with matte frosted centers and connected by scrolling foliate vines. The bowls are supported by short, decoratively molded stems characterized by a prominent four-lobed quadrifoil knop positioned above a smaller rounded bulb. Each piece rests on a plain, flat circular foot. No maker marks or acid-etched signatures are visible on the undersides of the bases.
