Numerous small cracks in the glaze done by design. - approx. 3" diameter x 2.625" h. Chinese porcelain blue-grey cup. The edge of the top rim is a dark brown color as well as the base rim. - approx. 3.5" diameter x 1.75" h. Chinese porcelain bowl finished in a light green/grey glaze finish. Numerous cracks in the glaze both internally and externally done on purpose as the artistic design in the piece. Unglazed, solid base featuring a sticker from the Salzberg Collection.   • Condition: Light wear, chipping of the glaze on the interior and more significant chipping of the glaze on the base underneath. Slight chipping of the glaze around the entire top of the rim of the bowl. Additional small dings in the glaze in the interior of the bowl. Good, slight chipping of the glaze around the edge of the rim. Slight chipping of the interior base. A piece of scotch tape is on the exterior near the rim to cover a crack in the glaze. Other small dings in the glaze along the interior walls of the bowl. slightly more significant chipping on the base underneath and the surrounding base rim. Worn, significant discoloration both on interior and exterior. substancial ship in the rim running approx. .625" doen the side of the bowl. Small but identifiable chips in the base rim as well. Good, minimal scuffing, one small chip in the base rim. Good, couple slight chips in the top of the rim. Multiple small holes in the glaze from age and the firing process. other minimal dings and scuffs throughout the base. For invoices over $5,000, we will invoice you directly. For invoices over $10,000, payment must clear our account before picking up.

If you purchase any items in the militaria, jewelry / sterling category you cannot check out through Invaluable. We will send you an invoice through our system, which will carry NYS sales tax of 8.375%. If you have a resale, you will need to complete paperwork with us.

We accept check, wire transfer or Zelle payment only. If you are paying in-house we also accept cash or credit card which carries a 2.5% administration fee for invoices under $10,000.

Clarke Auction does not accept third-party payments from individuals or organizations that are not the winning bidder. Payment from a bank account must match the name as the registered winner. Clarke Auction reserves the right to hold purchases until buyer's check clears our Bank. All returned checks are subject to a $50.00 service charge.

If for any reason a purchased lot cannot be delivered or picked up in the condition it was in at the time of sale or should any purchased lot be stolen or lost prior to delivery or pick up, Clarke Auction shall not be liable for any amount in excess of that paid by the purchaser.

Clarke Auction shall not be held responsible for the acts or omissions of carriers or packers of purchased lots, whether or not recommended by us.

All lots must be paid and removed at the buyer's expense within (10) business days after the conclusion of the sale. Any lots remaining at Clarke Auction past ten (10) days after the conclusion of the sale will be subject to a storage fee of $10.00 per lot, per day. Should the cost of storage exceed the purchase price, Clarke reserves the right to dispose of the purchased lot.

Clarke Auction will not be held responsible for loss or damage to items left on premises over ten (10) business days after the conclusion of the sale. Clarke Auction reserves the right to re-auction, without reserve, items not removed within thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the sale.
