Ossified whale bone, carved into primitive face. Measures about 2-1/2" wide. Provenance: Obtained in 1974 by artist and art collector Helen McGehee Umana from The Innuit Gallery of Eskimo Art in Toronto. Comes with Canadian Inuk Artist certificate, indicating an illegible artist's name, as well as Frobisher Bay, W/B (whale bone) and a stock number. This item can be shipped in-house.
