An earthenware pitcher, identified as creamware or Queen's Ware, manufactured by Wedgwood in England. The vessel features a bulbous body with a high flared rim, a wide pinched spout, and a single loop handle. The exterior is hand-decorated in an Art Deco style with stylized leaping gazelles or deer and cloud motifs rendered in reddish-brown and dark brown pigments on a cream ground. Wavy linear patterns are applied to the rim and handle. The base displays multiple markings: impressed Wedgwood and Made in England marks, as well as hand-painted marks in brown pigment consisting of a CMW monogram surrounding a five-pointed star, the date April 1932, and the number 551. The underside also carries a rectangular inventory label and a circular foil label for the Rubin Collection.
