Bamboo motif neck with flared rim. Underside bears a blue 6- character Kangxi mark (1662-1722). Imperial reign mark: Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi. (Made during the Kangxi period of the Great Qing dynasty), in a double circle, underglaze blue. Height: 18.75" = 47.62 cm Diameter: 8.25" = 21 cm; Weight: 6 lb. 3.1 oz. = 2 kg 811 g = 2,811 g; Condition: used, but perfect, no defects Prove of authenticity: 1) Natural wear of the base rim, 2) hand-painted figures and 6 character mark at the bottom, 3) Microscopic at x50 magnification research proved microscopic gas bubbles of different size, which were common in porcelain technique production, used several hundred years ago.
