  • Dimensions: Hand-colored engraving with aquatint, 37" x 24.25" sight. Framed 49.5" x 36".
  • Condition: Toning to extreme sheet edges and some light areas of uneven toning (offsetting?) between the heron's right-facing leg and its neck. One-inch repaired tear left lower edge. Two 3" x .5" vertical strips of linen tape remains at upper left and right edges, verso. Soft, diagonal crease beginning at the upper edge, 10" in from the left edge, down just through the top of the Heron's upper wing and ending about 3" past the right edge of the upper wing. Two-inch semi-circular soft crease, right sheet edge, starting about 8.5" down from the upper edge rounding to about .75" in from the sheet edge. Handling wear and brown spotting to lower left corner. Irregular left edge (where it was removed from the binding). Light, uneven toning, verso.
