The Big Ben Smoking Tobacco tin is a vertical rectangular form with a hinged black lid. It features an orange background with an arched brand name above a central circular illustration of a brown horse in a field. Identical imagery appears on both the front and reverse. Text at the base identifies the manufacturer as the Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corp. of Louisville, Kentucky. The Bohemian Plug Perique Mixture tin is a horizontal, flat rectangular form with a hinged lid. The design consists of a green border surrounding a yellow field with black decorative typography.
