Condition:
The lot presents in various conditions, consistent with their age and circulation. The 1952 Switzerland 1/2 Franc is in excellent condition, retaining much of its original luster with minimal visible wear, and is housed in a protective cardboard 2x2 holder. The 1943 Australia 2 Shillings (Florin) exhibits moderate to heavy circulation wear, with noticeable flattening on high points of both the monarch's portrait and the coat of arms. It shows areas of dark, mottled toning and scattered surface marks, along with minor rim nicks. The 1885 UK 1 Shilling is heavily circulated, featuring significant loss of detail, particularly on Queen Victoria's portrait. It displays extensive, uneven dark toning, scattered scratches, and some areas of possible environmental residue or past cleaning. The rim is worn smooth in places. The 1914 Netherlands 25 Cents shows moderate to heavy circulation wear, with softened details, dark mottled toning, and minor surface abrasions. The 1737 Spain Real, while showing significant circulation wear consistent with its substantial age, retains discernable major design elements. It exhibits deep, uneven toning, surface marks, and some minor planchet irregularities, presenting a pleasing, aged patina.
