An impressive and highly decorative French Louis XV-style sideboard, masterfully crafted in richly figured walnut and crowned with its original shaped white marble top. Distinguished by its graceful bombe form, lavish hand-carved floral ornament, and elegant serpentine façade, this substantial buffet exemplifies the opulence and craftsmanship associated with French Rococo revival furniture. The cabinet showcases dramatic bookmatched walnut veneers throughout, framed by deeply carved foliate pilasters terminating in scrolling acanthus ornament. At center, an oval raised panel adorned with carved floral garlands provides a striking focal point, while the flowing serpentine base and molded plinth reinforce the cabinet's sculptural presence. Behind three locking cabinet doors is an expansive shelved interior offering generous concealed storage.
