    The present lot is a drawing included as a line engraving for the 1891 edition of Henry Longfellow Wadsworth's Song of Hiawatha, published by Houghton, Mifflin & Co. and illustrated on page 73.
  • Condition: Framed: 19 x 22 x 1 1/2 in.
    Uneven toning to sheet, notable at extreme edges. Intermittent abrasions and creases at edges. Creasing and wear to corners. Pinholes present along extreme edge of work. Spots of soiling at top left, near tree line, lower left under signature, top right extreme edge, and at lower left edge. Additional images available upon request.
