A charming group of two American Depression-era glass serving bowls, featuring complementary ribbed designs in softly tinted glass. Included is a larger clear-to-light amber ribbed bowl with a distinctive square foot and radiating vertical fluting, accompanied by a smaller pink depression glass serving bowl with a scalloped rim and molded ribbed decoration. The smaller bowl bears the embossed Federal Glass shield mark to the underside, identifying it as a product of the renowned Federal Glass Company of Columbus, Ohio, a leading American manufacturer celebrated for its colorful Depression-era tableware produced during the 1920s through the 1950s. The delicate pink hue remains among the most desirable colors collected today. The larger bowl, while unmarked, features an elegant Art Deco-inspired ribbed design and substantial form, making it equally suitable as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or decorative display piece. Offered together as an attractive vintage glass grouping, these bowls display well individually or as part of a Depression glass collection. Approximate dimensions: Large bowl: 10 inches diameter x 4 1/2 inches high. Pink Federal Glass bowl: 8 inches diameter x 3 inches high.

  • Condition: Both bowls are in good vintage condition with light age-related surface wear, including scratches and utensil marks consistent with prior use. The larger bowl exhibits interior scratching and expected shelf wear to the foot. The pink Federal Glass bowl shows light interior wear and minor surface abrasions. No obvious chips or cracks were observed during inspection.
