This collection of ten US Washington quarter dollars consists of a mixed date bag of 90% silver coinage issued prior to the transition to copper-nickel clad composition. The group includes one specimen dated 1959, one dated 1961, two dated 1963, and six dated 1964. Each coin features the Washington obverse and the eagle reverse. The lot includes specimens from the Philadelphia Mint (no mint mark) and the Denver Mint (D mint mark located on the reverse). These coins are struck in 90% silver and 10% copper with reeded edges. These issues represent the final years of the circulating 90% silver Washington series.
