A group of Royal Doulton hand-painted polychrome glazed porcelain figurines from the Colonial Williamsburg series. The first figurine, titled The Wigmaker of Williamsburg (model HN 2239), depicts a standing male figure in an 18th-century long white coat and red breeches working on a dark wig. The base is marked with the Royal Doulton lion and crown logo, the model name and number, and a copyright date of 1958. The second figurine, titled A Gentleman from Williamsburg (model HN 2227), features a seated male figure in a green frock coat and floral waistcoat. The underside is marked with the Royal Doulton logo, model name and number, and a copyright date of 1959. Measurement is for largest item.
