An attractive collection of five vintage English bone china teacup and saucer sets, each representing the exceptional craftsmanship and decorative artistry for which England's leading porcelain houses became internationally renowned. Featuring a pleasing variety of floral motifs, transfer-printed decoration, scalloped forms, and hand-applied gilt accents, this assembled grouping offers both visual diversity and enduring collector appeal. Highlights include a Spode Copeland "Fleur-de-Lis" blue and white teacup and saucer, a classic interpretation of traditional English transferware inspired by historic French decorative motifs. Also included is a Paragon bone china cup and saucer with soft pastel floral decoration on a pale celadon ground bearing the prestigious "By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen" backstamp. A Rosina China teacup and saucer displays charming wildflower decoration with delicate gilding, while an elegant ivory-ground floral and gilt teacup and saucer and a refined Art Nouveau-inspired floral garland example complete the collection. Manufactured in the famed Staffordshire potteries, companies such as Spode Copeland, Paragon, and Rosina earned international acclaim for producing fine translucent bone china prized for its lightness, durability, and elegant decoration. These makers supplied homes throughout Britain and abroad, and many of their tea wares remain highly collectible today for their quality, artistry, and association with the enduring English afternoon tea tradition. Beautifully suited for display, entertaining, or addition to a growing collection of British ceramics, this assembled group offers an appealing cross-section of twentieth-century English bone china design.

  • Literature: Includes examples by notable English manufacturers including Spode Copeland (Fleur-de-Lis), Paragon, and Rosina China, all respected producers of fine Staffordshire bone china. Paragon held Royal Warrants and was widely recognized for supplying tableware to the British Royal Household, while Spode remains one of England's most historically significant porcelain manufacturers.
  • Circa: Circa 1920s–1960s.
  • Condition: Overall very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and careful use. Minor rubbing to gilt decoration, light utensil marks, and expected wear to foot rims. No significant chips or cracks observed in the photographed pieces. Please refer to photographs for individual condition details.
