A Meissen porcelain plate decorated in the Ming Dragon pattern with two red dragons chasing flaming pearls around the rim. 18th to 19th century. Blue crossed swords mark underglaze. 9". Provenance: From the Estates of Raymond Bahor &Michael Mahoney. Mahoney was a professor and Chair of the Fine Arts department at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, until he retired in 1991. Prior to that he was a curator and editor at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
