CONNECTICUT CARVED CHERRY BONNET-TOP HIGHBOY / HIGH CHEST, two-piece construction, a fine example, the upper case featuring broken-arch bonnet with applied molding, center plinth with pinwheel carving, and central bonnet drawer bearing double-fan carving over four graduated drawers with thumb-molded profile, the lower case featuring a central fan-carved drawer, elaborate skirt profile, and graceful cabriole legs with applied returns and pad feet. Pine secondary wood.
