A belt buckle for an Enlisted Man of the SS. Shows a Reichsadler over a swastika cockade surrounded by a wreath; wreath bears the SS legend "Meine Ehre Heist Treue" (My Honor is Called Loyalty). Back of buckle bears an RZM stamp and an SS-Siegrunes stamp, with the code OLT/62637. This buckle was produced by the famous forger Tony Oliver, as indicated by the stamp, which are Oliver's initials backwards and the last portion of his phone number - Oliver, who was one of the more prominent collectors and authenticators of the time, became the center of a scandal in the collecting world after his forgery was revealed.
