SOUTHERN, MID-ATLANTIC, AND MIDWESTERN MADE / RETAILED STERLING AND COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF SEVEN, most pieces with personalized engravings; comprising two sterling teaspoons with forward-tipped fiddle handles, featuring one by Wood & Hughes of New York City, NY (active 1845-1899/1903) and retailed by William Kendrick's Sons of Louisville, KY (c.1880-c.1930) with "AMC" initials, and one retailed by E. Jaccard Jewelry Co. of St. Louis, MO; four coin silver fiddle-handled teaspoons, consisting one by Artemus (Artemas) O. Fairchild of Wheeling, (W)VA (c.1839-1855) and Campbell, MO (1860-1870) with "HTE" initials, one by Whiting Mfg. Co. (1866-1926) and retailed by Thomas G. Calvert of Lexington, KY (1852-1899) with "MEM" initials, one by Gabriel Duval Clark of Baltimore, MD (1830-1893) with "RLC" initials, and one with "FLO" initials attributed to Green Hall / John D. Hewson / S. Douglas Brower of Albany, NY and retailed by Edward Francis of Leesburg, VA (1828-1835), Raymond, MS (1837-1850+), Brandon, MS (1860), and Henderson, TX (1870-1879); and an 0.896 coin silver "Mayflower" salt spoon by S. Kirk & Son of Baltimore, MD (1846-1979). Each impressed with a maker's mark and/or retailer's mark, two teaspoons also marked "STERLING", Whiting spoon marked "COIN", and Kirk salt spoon impressed "10.15". Total weight: 4.055 ozt. 19th/early 20th century. 3 3/8" to 6" LOA.

    Good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, slight bending, one or a few dents, and/or slightly worn bowl tips; Clark spoon with denting to tip of handle.
