James Montgomery Flagg (1877-1960)

Untitled (Mokey and Chum)

1935

James Montgomery Flagg was a prolific American artist best known for creating the iconic ' I Want YOU for U.S. Army' Uncle Sam recruitment poster. That 1971 receipt to a Kansas City frame shop owner is included.
