Japanese genuine antique iron TSUBA for Samurai sword katana with vine pattern KARAKUSA The front side features a vine pattern called KARAKUSA. Because it is strongly vital and extends vines without interruption, it has meanings such as "prosperity" and "longevity," making it an auspicious pattern. The back side has two dragons. About this item: TSUBA (Guard) is one of the parts of the samurai sword. TSUBA is placed between the TSUKA (handle) and the blade of the sword to protect the hand that grips the TSUKA. The body of the samurai sword is not included.
