This lot consists of ten US Washington Quarter Dollars struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. The group represents a mixed date bag of circulated coinage with dates including 1948, 1953, 1954, 1956, 1957 (two examples), 1958, and 1964 (three examples). The coins feature the Washington portrait obverse and the heraldic eagle reverse. Mint marks for the Denver Mint (D) are present on several specimens, while others lack a mint mark, indicating production at the Philadelphia Mint. All coins feature reeded edges. These 90% silver quarters were the final circulating silver quarters issued by the US Mint before the transition to copper-nickel clad compositions in 1965.
