This collection includes five ceramic drinking vessels featuring the artwork of Norman Rockwell, produced as limited edition collectibles. The group consists of four lidded steins and one open mug. The four steins are crafted from hand-painted relief stoneware with pewter-tone metal lids and decorative handles themed to the maritime scenes depicted on the bodies, such as a lighthouse, a ships mast, and knotted rope with an anchor. Titles include For A Good Boy (1981), Braving The Storm (1982), The Music Lesson (1982), and Looking Out To Sea (First Edition, 1981). The bases are marked with the Norman Rockwell Museum seal and include individual limited edition numbers. The mug is made of Gorham fine china and features a transfer-printed illustration titled Goin Fishin from the Four Seasons series for 1948, accented with gold-tone gilt at the rim and base. The lot includes four original cardboard collector boxes.
