  • Provenance: The Rolex Reference 6202 is a historic milestone in horology, recognized as the first serially produced Rolex to feature a rotating bezel. Launched in 1953, it is widely considered the "missing link" or precursor to the legendary Submariner and GMT-Master lines.
  • Condition: Bracelet size: Approx. 6 - 7 3/4 inches
Overall Condition: The dial has overall consistent and pleasing patina consistent with 'radium burn'. The aluminum bezel insert retains its full red triangle. Case is full and strong with light surface scratches consistent with age and use. Dial and hands appear to be original. The watch winds, sets and runs at the time of cataloguing but has not been timed for accuracy.

Please note that Freeman’s does not warranty the watch at the time of the auction or after its purchase. Potential buyers should be advised that though the watch may be running at the time of cataloging, it may stop running before the auction and servicing is recommended for all timepieces. The authenticity of individual parts is not guaranteed since repairs and restoration may have occurred. Freeman's assumes all watches are unisex and does not specify the gender of a piece. For size reference, please see the case measurements of the piece listed under dimensions.
