Massive motif painting of a scene from an 1842 opera by Donizetti titled "Linda di Chamounix," by Leonardi (Italian, 1800-1870). Painting (including thin frame) measures 79-1/2" x 54-3/4" overall. Signed Leonardi, lower right in red. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice. We maintain a list of reliable shippers, or you may choose your own.

  • Condition: Several issues that warrant restoration: a few holes and tears -- some repaired. Wear and minor losses. Some possible scorching of the lower right corner. Could use a good cleaning, as well. Restored, if would be a stunner.
