An original vintage lobby card issued for Walt Disney Productions' beloved live-action/animated musical fantasy *Pete's Dragon* (1977), released by Buena Vista Distribution Co., Inc. This colorful theatrical display features one of the film's memorable scenes, depicting the townspeople assembled around the ship's mast during the lively musical sequence, printed in rich Technicolor. The lobby card retains its original 1977 copyright line and Buena Vista Distribution imprint, identifying it as an authentic period theater promotional piece produced for the film's original theatrical release. *Pete's Dragon*, starring Sean Marshall, Helen Reddy, Mickey Rooney, Jim Dale, Red Buttons, Shelley Winters, and featuring the Academy Award-nominated song "Candle on the Water," has become one of Disney's most enduring live-action family classics and enjoys a devoted collector following. Adding further interest is the surviving "Sid Cahuenga – One of a Kind" inventory label affixed to the upper right corner.
