A striking pair of contemporary faceted crystal decorative objects showcasing exceptional clarity and bold geometric design. The lot includes a substantial oval faceted crystal paperweight or display sculpture together with a heavily cut square crystal block featuring deeply carved scalloped and geometric edges. The larger oval example is masterfully fashioned with broad, precision-cut facets that beautifully refract and diffuse light, creating subtle prism effects and an elegant sculptural presence. Its generous scale makes it equally suitable as a paperweight, desk accessory, or standalone decorative object. Accompanying the oval piece is a thick square crystal form with deeply carved decorative sides and polished surfaces. The architectural design and substantial weight lend it a distinctly modern aesthetic, making it suitable as a display object, paperweight, or decorative accent. Both examples exhibit the brilliant optical qualities associated with fine lead crystal and complement both traditional and contemporary interiors. Sold together as one lot.   • Literature: Retains original workshop label for Holzschnitzereien Buckl, Dinkelsbühl, Bavaria, Germany. The Buckl workshop is recognized for producing traditional hand-carved Bavarian decorative wood sculpture inspired by historic European carving traditions.
  • Circa: Late 20th Century, circa 1980s–1990s.
  • Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. Hand-painted and parcel-gilt surfaces remain vibrant with light age-related wear and minor rubbing consistent with display. Scattered small losses and expected surface wear to painted decoration are present but do not detract from the overall presentation. Original hanging hardware remains intact on the reverse.
