Pre Civil War journal, presumed to be kept by James H. Kelly. Detailing the journey of cargo ships including the Coringa, Oriental, and Samuel Appleton visiting various ports ranging from Boston to Calcutta. Dates range from March of 1852 through mid 1855. Housed in a custom protective slipcover. Approx. 8-1/2" x 13-3/8". This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.

  • Condition: Overall wear to cover including losses, pages at the front of the journal and between the dates of May 18th and June 7th,1852 torn out, tape inside front and back covers, taped spine. See images for more details on condition.
