This is a ceremonial Kiddush cup constructed of silverplate over a base metal. The vessel features a tapered goblet-style body with a flared rim, resting upon a pedestal base. The base is decorated using a pierced openwork technique that forms Hebrew characters encircling the stand. The inscription reads ×'×-רא ×¤×¨× ×"×'פן (Borei pri hagafen), which translates to [Who] creates the fruit of the vine, the concluding phrase of the traditional blessing recited over wine. No maker's marks or silver purity hallmarks are visible on the underside or body of the piece. The cup is designed in a style common to mid-20th-century to contemporary Israeli Judaica, resembling commercial designs from manufacturers such as Alef Judaica.
