Fish decoy, 1st quarter 20th century. Bass with tack eyes. Deeply carved gills and open mouth. Side of fish is painted with a blend of gold, green, and darker tones of black. Metal fins with wooden tail. Measures 10" long.

  • Provenance: Provenance: Private Michigan collection.
  • Condition: Strong original paint protected by an old coat of varnish; chip and piece missing from mouth; rough edge at bottom of tail; small flaking at top metal fin.
