The group comprises a mixed date bag of coins produced between 1940 and 1964 at the Philadelphia and Denver mints. Each coin features the Washington obverse and Eagle reverse design with reeded edges. Visible dates and mint marks include 1940, 1940-D, 1943, 1957-D, 1962-D, 1963-D, 1964, and 1964-D. These coins represent the final era of 90% silver coinage issued for general circulation in the US.
