This lot comprises a large collection of costume jewelry from the mid-to-late 20th century. The collection includes a variety of brooches, clip-on and screw-back earrings, necklaces, and specialty accessories. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, with some featuring gunmetal or antique bronze finishes. Decorative elements include faceted glass rhinestones in clear and various colors, aurora borealis (AB) stones, faux pearls, cold enamel, and molded glass or resin components. Featured motifs include: Animals: A silver-tone cat with a rhinestone collar, a gold-tone giraffe set with faux pearls and rhinestones, several enameled and rhinestone butterflies, and a bird motif with cherubs. Patriotic and Medallic: A United States flag pin with red, white, and blue enamel and rhinestone accents; and a large medallic-style brooch featuring four British pennies (dated 1936 and 1941 among others) arranged around a red enameled Maltese cross. Figurative and Novelty: A Victorian-style hat, a high-heeled shoe, a set of interconnected hearts with an arrow, and an Art Deco-style architectural pin. Nature and Floral: Various floral sprays, leaf designs, and a gold-tone feather brooch. Other Items: A blue "Faberge-style" egg pendant with gold filigree, a gold-tone tie clip with a fishing fly embedded in resin, and a necklace featuring a large pink teardrop-shaped glass stone. The earring findings include both -style screw-backs and clip-ons. One earring finding is stamped with PAT. PEND. While the styling of several pieces is consistent with mid-century manufacturers such as Sarah Coventry or Gerry's, no definitive maker marks are visible.
