The Portrait Depicting the Young Union Officer in Federal Frock Coat with Hand Gilded Buttons and Period Applied Tinting to the Cheeks and Lips and Is Preserved Behind Glass within the Original Thermoplastic Gutta Percha Union Case Featuring a Desirable Patriotic USS Monitor Ironclad Naval Motif with American Flags within a Star Border Surrounded by Elaborate Floral Decoration.
