A charming collection of three porcelain figurines representing young women in traditional and pastoral attire, comprising examples by two of Denmark's most celebrated porcelain manufactories together with a decorative export figure. Included is a Bing & Grøndahl figure depicting a young girl tenderly holding a doll, bearing the Copenhagen backstamp and dated 1972. Also included is a Royal Copenhagen figure of a smiling woman balancing a basket upon her head, displaying the refined modeling and soft underglaze decoration for which the factory is renowned. Completing the group is a hand-painted lady in a broad-brimmed hat and long dress, retaining its original "Made in Taiwan" label. Founded in 1853, Bing & Grøndahl became internationally recognized for its exceptional porcelain sculpture before merging with Royal Copenhagen in the late twentieth century. Royal Copenhagen, established in 1775 under royal patronage, remains one of the world's foremost producers of fine porcelain, celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship and timeless Scandinavian design. An appealing assortment of decorative porcelain figures suitable for display, offering a pleasing combination of Danish artistry and vintage decorative ceramics.

  • Circa: Mid to late 20th century, including a dated 1972 Bing & Grøndahl example.
  • Condition: Overall good vintage condition with light shelf wear and minor surface marks consistent with age and display. No obvious chips, cracks, or repairs observed during visual inspection. The Taiwanese figure retains its original foil label. Buyers are encouraged to review all photographs as part of the condition report.
