This delightful 19th-century porcelain figural spill vase features a charming young boy dressed in a pastel blue frock coat, striped lavender trousers, and a sky-blue top hat, adorned with hand-applied gilt beading throughout. The boy is depicted holding a cane and a yellow-tipped umbrella, engaging playfully with a white cockatoo that stands beside a yellow ball at his feet. Next to the boy is a finely molded basket-form spill vase, adorned with simulated woven and rope detailing, all set on a circular base painted in grassy green tones. The underside of the base reveals an unmarked, three-sectioned molded construction, typical of mid to late 19th-century Continental porcelain work.
