This collection of 10 art books and exhibition catalogs focuses on late 19th and early 20th-century American artists and Impressionism. The primary volume is the hardcover monograph Joseph DeCamp: Master Painter of the Boston School by Laurene Buckley, published by Prestel in 1995. This volume is cloth-bound with a color-illustrated dust jacket and contains numerous full-page color plates including The Seamstress and The Kreutzer Sonata. The group includes the following softcover exhibition catalogs and monographs: En Plein Air: The Art Colonies at East Hampton and Old Lyme, 1880-1930, published in 1989 by the Guild Hall Museum and Lyme Historical Society. Organized jointly by the Guild Hall Museum and the Florence Griswold Museum, the publication was limited to 1,000 copies and printed by Meriden-Stinehour Press (ISBN 0-933793-12-X). James Wells Champney 1843-1903, published by the Hilson Gallery at Deerfield Academy in 1965. A Noble Tradition: American Painting from The National Arts Club Permanent Collection. Two publications regarding Ivan G. Olinsky, including a 1985 exhibition catalog from Arvest Galleries, Inc. in Boston. Irwin D. Hoffman: An Artist's Life. M. Jean MacLane 1878-1964. Oscar Bluemner: Visions of the Modern Landscape. A monograph for Gregory Frank Harris. The publications are predominantly quarto in size and include both color and black-and-white illustrations and plates.
