1 1903 10 Cents piece struck under Edward VII featuring his portrait on the obverse and a crowned wreath design with the inscriptions 10 CENTS, CANADA, and the date on the reverse, and nine 5 Cents pieces dated from 1922 through 1942 featuring obverse portraits of George V or George VI and reverse designs variously depicting a wreath or the beaver motif with inscriptions CANADA, 5 CENTS, and the respective dates. Coins are composed of silver or nickel alloy appropriate to their issues; individual pieces display standard mint imagery and inscriptions for their types.
