Accompanying the set is a coordinating scenic lidded storage jar decorated with an expansive Dutch canal and townscape, providing an elegant complementary piece. Produced under the Delft Blauw mark, these hand-painted earthenware canisters reflect the enduring appeal of Dutch Delft ceramics, a tradition dating to the 17th century when Delft potters developed their celebrated blue-and-white wares inspired by imported Chinese porcelain.
