GEORGE WASHINGTON WAX RELIEF PORTRAIT, rectangular plaque-style profile bust facing left, wearing his Continental Army military uniform with his hair tied with a ribbon, inscribed "G. Rouse Sclp" below the shoulder and "Genl George Washington 1797" along the lower edge. Housed in its original molded tiger maple shadowbox frame with original backing board. 19th century. 10 1/2" x 8 1/2" sight, 15 1/8" x 13 1/4" OA.

  • Condition:

    Very good overall condition, two cracks and a narrow loss to the hair ribbons, piece is present in the frame, otherwise no visible damage.
