Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver in .32-20 W.C.F. with Factory Letter The accompanying factory letter states this revolver was shipped on April 26, 1907, to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago, Illinois, in .32-20 with a 4 3/4 inch barrel, blue finish, and type of grips not listed, as part of 13 guns of the same type in the shipment. The revolver has the distinctive Bisley Model features which include the higher frame, humpback grip area, curved hammer with wide knurled spur, and wide trigger. It has a blade target front sight and frame notch rear sight. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped with the two-line Colt Hartford address and "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F." is on the left. It has two-piece checkered hard rubber humpback grips with the Rampant Colt logo embossed in an oval at the tops. The matching full serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and butt, with matching "2817" correctly hand etched on the interiors of the grips, unnumbered cylinder, and assembly number "3649" on the loading gate. Period carvings of a small flag and a stick man along with "1911" are hand etched on the interior of the right grip.

  • Condition: Fine overall, retains 60% original blue finish, 40% vibrant original case colors, with freckling, some very minor pitting, sharp markings and edges in the metal, and well-defined edges in the grips with a few nicks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
