Attractive Decorative Harness of Primarily 15th Century Pattern European Armour Manufactured primarily in the 19th or 20th century, this attractive harness of armour is primarily in the style of a mid to late 15th century Italian harness, including the legs, body, and arms, while the bascinet helm is of a late 14th to early 15th century hounskull pattern. While primarily being produced for display, all of the components appear to be fully articulated and functional, including the faulds. The helm is fitted with a butted maille aventail and a butted maille fauld is fitted under the plate faulds. The harness is fitted on a hardwood base and stands approximately 82 inches tall.
