ANTIQUE HOMESPUN GRAIN / FEEDSACK BAGS, LOT OF SEVEN, each plain- or twill-woven bag being elongated rectangular form, probably made from linen or cotton, including a Royal Rivers Seamless bag with stenciled "GEO. H. MYERS" name to one side and the reverse with various stenciled labels. 19th/early 20th century. "MYERS" bag 18 1/4" x 41 1/2" laying flat.

  • Provenance:

    The estate collection of Patsy Martin, Chambersburg, PA.

  • Condition:

    Fair to very good overall condition with imperfections including scattered stains, toning, holes, tears, mends, etc.; "MYERS" bag with fading to stripes and stencils, having a sizable mend to bottom and several holes.
