An attractive collection of three vintage colored glass drinking vessels showcasing the enduring appeal of richly hued European-inspired decorative glass. The grouping includes an elegant cranberry pink goblet lavishly embellished with raised gilt decoration in the Bohemian taste, accompanied by two ruby red tumblers of faceted form. The central goblet features a bulbous bowl accented with alternating gilt panels filled with delicate scrolling foliate ornament and highlighted by a bright gilt rim and matching gilt stem. The refined decoration recalls the celebrated glasshouses of Bohemia, where richly colored glass enhanced with gold enameling became synonymous with luxury tablewares during the nineteenth century and continued to inspire later decorative production. Complementing the goblet are a pair of deep ruby tumblers with molded faceted lower bodies transitioning to smooth cylindrical rims. Their jewel-toned coloration provides a striking visual contrast while harmonizing beautifully with the cranberry centerpiece. Whether displayed as decorative cabinet pieces, incorporated into an eclectic barware collection, or used as accent glasses for entertaining, the ensemble offers vibrant color, classic European styling, and timeless decorative appeal. An appealing decorative grouping well suited to collectors of Bohemian-style glass, colored art glass, vintage barware, and twentieth-century decorative arts.

  • Literature: Comparable gilt-decorated colored glass was produced by numerous Bohemian and Central European glassworks throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including Moser, Egermann, and other regional manufacturers whose richly colored and gilded wares remain highly collectible. Similar ruby pressed glass tumblers were also produced by American and European manufacturers during the mid-twentieth century.
  • Circa: Mid-20th century, circa 1950s–1970s.
  • Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. The cranberry goblet retains its gilt decoration with expected minor wear consistent with age and handling. The ruby tumblers present well with light surface wear from normal use. No obvious cracks or repairs observed in the photographs. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the condition report.
