The lot includes Ackermann’s Repository, Vol. III, Nos. 13–18, January–June 1810, bound in one volume; Vol. VI, Nos. 31–36, July–December 1811, bound in one volume; and Ackermann’s Repository, Second Series, Vol. I, including No. 6 and issues from June/July and September–December 1816, bound together with La Belle Assemblée, Bell’s Court and Fashionable Magazine, January–April 1816. Also included are La Belle Assemblée, Bell’s Court and Fashionable Magazine, Addressed Particularly to Ladies, January–June 1816, bound in one volume; Le Beau Monde, Literary and Fashionable Magazine, July 1808–January 1809, bound in one volume, together with February–September 1809; and The Englishwoman’s Domestic Magazine, Vol. II, New Series. Volumes contain hand-colored fashion plates for women’s and men’s dress, maps, illustrations of fashionable interiors, garden and household furnishings, political and cultural commentary, and historical and ethnographic articles, including “Defence of Cannibals.” The lot also includes a group of additional loose color plates. Largest volume approximately 9.62 x 6.25 x 2.5 in. Please note that bindings are heavily worn, most in delicate condition with cracks, old tape repairs, etc. Pages and plates with toning, foxing, staining, tears, and losses at edges. Some leaves loose or detached. Largest book approximately 9.62H x 6.25W x 2.5D in.

Items left for more than 21 days after the auction will be considered abandoned and returned to Clark's to be sold. Storage fees of $25 per week per lot will be charged for unpaid shipping. NO REFUNDS will be given for abandoned items.
