This collection consists of 8 books and exhibition catalogs focused on African American art history, individual artists, and prominent private collections. The lot includes four hardcover volumes with original dust jackets: The Other Side of Color: African American Art in the Collection of Camille O. and William H. Cosby Jr. by David C. Driskell (Pomegranate, 2001); African American Art: The Long Struggle by Crystal A. Britton (Todtri, 1996); Hughie Lee-Smith by Leslie King-Hammond (Pomegranate, 2010), which is Volume VIII of the David C. Driskell Series of African American Art; and Collecting African American Art: Works on Paper and Canvas by Halima Taha (Crown, 1998).
