This 1923 US Peace silver dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse features Liberty wearing a radiate crown with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and the date 1923. The reverse depicts an eagle perched on a rock inscribed PEACE, clutching an olive branch, set against the rays of a rising sun. Reverse legends include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. There is no mint mark present on the reverse. This piece is a circulated specimen and is not professionally graded.
