Conditions of Sale

All Merchandise is Sold As Is / Where Is, without warranty or guarantee of any kind. All sales are final. No Refunds. Direct Auction Galleries shall not be responsible for the correct description, genuineness, authenticity of, suitability of, or defect in any lot. Bidder Inspection is encouraged. By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Direct Auction Galleries reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder at its discretion. In the event of a discrepancy, technical glitch, or any other circumstance, the auctioneer's decision as to who is the winning bidder is final. Direct Auction Galleries shall not be held responsible for missed bids, internet outages, glitches, Operator error, or anything else that might cause a bidder (internet, absentee or live bidding) to lose an item at auction. Direct Auction Galleries reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures. Some items may have reserves, and, as such, the auctioneer has the right to bid on the seller's behalf. Buyer's Premium is 25% with a 3% Administrative Fee when paying by Credit Card or domestically by Paypal (International Paypal is a 4.5% Administrative Fee). Please call in your payments to 773-465-3300 if you would prefer to pay directly with us, or if you plan on paying by check or wire transfer. We are available to take your payments the Monday and Tuesday after the auction, 10 AM to 6 PM CST. If you have not paid by then, we will send out Invaluable Invoices on Tuesday night, and your card on file with Invaluable will be automatically charged on Friday, if payment has not yet been received. It is ultimately the bidder's responsibility to handle all shipping arrangements. Auction Lots Designated as "In House Shipping Available" are Items that we can potentially Ship in-house, and "Third Party Shipping" will be denoted on Items that must be Packed and Shipped by an Outside Shipper or Freight Shipper. It is the Buyer's Responsibility to Contract with Direct Auction Galleries or with a 3rd Party Shipper, and pay for Packing, Shipping, and Insurance. Items which are to be shipped may remain in Direct Auction's warehouse for a maximum of 6 weeks after the auction. Any items which have not been shipped out or removed within 6 weeks may be resold or discarded, even if they have already been paid for. For Items Picked up by a 3rd Party Shipper or Freight Shipper, Direct Auction Galleries is not Responsible for any Losses or Damage once the Items have Left the Premises. Sales Tax on top of the Hammer Price and Buyer's Premium may apply. If you have a Dealer's Resale Certificate, Please send us a copy of your resale number (if you have one) if you are paying us directly, so we can keep it on file. Payment Terms are Cash, Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer, Debit Card, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal. Unless you are a regular customer of Direct Auction Galleries, all Purchases of coins or jewelry over $800 must be made by wire transfer. Payment(s) should be made to Direct Auction Galleries within 3 days of the Auction. Any Purchases not Paid for within 7 Days may be Voided and Re-Sold at the Discretion of the Auctioneer.
